OUR MISSION

The Vermont Peanut Butter Company was founded of three parts to create our ultimate mission..   The first was to provide a quality, locally made and crafted product that is free of harmful preservatives, hydrogenated oils, GMO's , palm fruit oils, excess sugar and salt.  A product that tastes great in the morning, for lunch or a snack anytime of the day.   The second part is that of social responsibility and community support.  Our social responsibility exists by standing behind healthful and nutritious products, which can make for a healthier life and family well being.  We will never deviate from our wholesome 100% goodness.   Our social responsibility also incurs a firm stand in the community through support of important local and national events, and continuous donations to charity.    The third part was to create fun and deliciousness to a product that is in 9 out of 10 homes.   VTPB is a premium nut butter brand with a good old fashioned, grass roots feel.   We grind, mix, fill, cap, seal, label and ship 100% of our products from Waterbury Vermont...home of success story #1...Ben and Jerry's.   We look forward to growing our Vermont company here, creating jobs and providing a fun look and feel to Vermonts next famous food.   Heck, I guess being the #2 success story won't be so bad.

OUR STORY

...It was on a hike one day in the idyllic Green Mountains of VERMONT....I was starving! I craved peanut butter, but was thinking how great it would be to add some flavor and EXTRA PROTEIN. After eating a handful of nuts and raisins for the one thousanth time, AND consuming yet another run of the mill nutrition bar high in sugar, high in price and low in satisfaction, my idea became reality.

Whammo...In our small creative kitchen, under the watchful eye of my six year old, together we created TEN DIFFERENT nut butters that will absolutely have you saying "oh my goodness"! They can even become a household staple food. We use only the best, flavorful nuts and all natural ingredients, leaving out the sugar, trans fats, gluten, and preservatives. We make only very controlled SMALL BATCHES to ensure unmatched safety and detail.  No aspect of our manufacturing is outsourced, and we are proud to grind, fill, cap, seal, label and ship everything from our plant in Waterbury VT! All of our flavored peanut butters have added whey protein and some have CHOCOLATE, some have Vermont MAPLE SYRUP, some have cranberries, FLAX and honey. We even have the very best creamy and mega chunky peanut butter around, and certainly in the great State of Vermont. This is an unbeatable food source for NUTRITION and fun for your FAMILY or for any ATHLETE. Our ingredients are simple to read, good for your body, yummy on the palate and settling to your soul. Hello, My name is Chris Kaiser. I am the founder / President of The Vermont Peanut Butter Company, Inc . I am a huge advocate for the Green Mountains of Vermont, nature, healthy living, exercise and family. I have long been dedicated to grass roots ventures, athletics and a healthy outdoor lifestyle. I am a mountain guy with big ideas, lots of energy, and extensive financial planning background and a real concern for the types of foods we are made to believe are good for you. It is unaccptable to me that hydrogenation is in so many things we feed ourselves and our kids. If you look at some products that say "All Natural", they still ad palm fruit oils, excess sugar and sodium.  I take great pride in creating a one of a kind food that is free of these oils, preservatives and 95% of households love having it in their kitchens. Nut butters are not new, but Vermont Peanut Butter Company's creations will prove to be the best ever!

From a Division I. Baseball Scholarship for baseball powerhouse Coastal Carolina University, Strength and Conditioning Instruction for the Baltimore Orioles, to backcountry snowboarding, mountain biking, ski patrol and kayaking to raise money for cancer. My next adventure and fututre for my family, is bringing fun and nutritionally sound peanut butters to you and your family. I am building another famous Vermont food company, with help from so many of you who truly care about what you eat. Together we are are putting "Vermont" in homes around the world.

As Vermont Peanut Butter grows, I want to be involved with many organizations. My current dedication to the Vermont Mountain Biking scene, local lacrosse organizations, food banks and the American Cancer Society are just a few.  My love for mountain biking, the mountains and my big heart for kids will surely lead me to pair up with Vermont's finest and this country's strongest.
