Things to look for in Vermont Peanut Butter

~ LOW Monounsaturated fats**

~ NO Trans Fat, Hydrogenated oils, Preservatives, GMO's or Palm Fruit Oils

~ High protein.
   (An average of 3g more protein per jar, than any other peanut butters!)

~ Good Iron and Folate

~ Extremely low sodium or none at all

~ Extremely low Sugar

** Monounsaturated fats make up most of the TOTAL fat in Vermont Peanut Butter. Monounsaturated fat is GOOD FAT and helps to reduce the "bad" LDL cholesterol levels in your body. This helps in preventing heart disease. Olive oil is a great example of a high monounsaturated fat product. We all know how good olive oil is for you! It is high saturated fat and trans fat you should limit or remove from your diet.
